Daniel Cools

Executive Director Group Financial Controller & Corporate Secretary

Daniel was appointed Executive Director in March 2010 for the European companies CIGNA Life Insurance Company of Europe and CIGNA Europe Insurance Company. His role is to participate in the day-to-day management of the company's businesses and to ensure that all relevant statutory, regulatory requirements and governance standards are met.

Prior to joining CIGNA in 2000, Daniel has occupied an executive financial role for a major competitive insurance company.

Daniel is a graduate in accounting and data processing; both qualifications were obtained at a Brussels institute of higher education.
