Sébastien Haslé was appointed Chief Risk Officer of Cigna Europe in July 2008. He brings more than 15 years of experience from a variety of actuarial positions. Sébastien is responsible for risk management in the European companies. In particular, he is leading the implementation of Solvency II regulation, which encompasses financial rating, capital planning / modelling, risks / performance metrics, governance and reporting aspects.
Prior to joining Cigna in 2008, Sébastien held the Chief Actuary role in the leading company on medical malpractice insurance but also property, disability, motor insurance for French clinics and hospitals. Sébastien was also responsible in 2007 for pan European actuarial studies on Solvency II.
Sébastien has a Master in Actuarial Sciences from ISFA (France), he is a qualified actuary and member of the French and Belgian Institutes of Actuaries. Sébastien has also a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from EM Lyon Business School.
